Assemble & Hold - Alerts and Notifications

The Assemble & Hold ticket process sends automated alerts and notifications to the appropriate sales and warehouse users. These communications confirm important milestones, identify missing information, and highlight requests that may require immediate attention.

 Warehouse Manager and Director Alerts

Alert or Notification When It Is Sent Purpose
Ticket Not Acknowledged The warehouse has not moved the ticket from Submitted to Acknowledged within one hour of ticket creation. Ensures that newly submitted Assemble & Hold requests are reviewed promptly.
Warehouse Owner Not Assigned A warehouse ticket owner has not been assigned within two hours of ticket creation. Ensures that responsibility for the ticket is assigned to a specific warehouse team member.

Sales Owner Alerts and Notifications

Alert or Notification When It Is Sent Purpose
Ticket Submitted Confirmation An Assemble & Hold ticket has been successfully submitted. Confirms that the request was received and entered into the warehouse process.
Shipment Details Completed All relevant shipment details have been provided, including pallet count, dimensions, shipping method, and tracking information. Notifies the sales owner that the shipment information is available for review or customer communication.
Picking Started The ticket moves into the Picking status. Confirms that the warehouse has begun picking the associated order.
Picking Completed The ticket moves into either Picked Complete or Picked with Backorders. Notifies the sales owner that picking has finished and identifies whether any items remain on backorder.

Warehouse Ticket Owner Alerts and Notifications

Alert or Notification When It Is Sent Purpose
Delivery Details Completed All relevant delivery information has been provided, including freight details, delivery date, and delivery requirements. Confirms that the warehouse has the delivery information needed to process the request.
Contact Information Completed The required contact information has been provided, including first name, last name, and email address. Confirms that an appropriate delivery or order contact is available.
Address Information Completed The required address information has been provided, including city, state, and ZIP code. Confirms that the location information needed for delivery or shipment planning is available.
Targeted Ship Date Missing The delivery date is two weeks away and a targeted shipping date has not been provided. Prompts the warehouse ticket owner to review the ticket and provide the missing shipping date.

Warehouse Ticket Owner and Sales Owner Alerts

Alert or Notification When It Is Sent Purpose
Delivery Date Less Than 14 Days Away The desired delivery date entered on the ticket is fewer than 14 days from the ticket submission date. Alerts both owners that the request may not provide the recommended two-week processing window.
Order on Credit Hold The associated sales order is placed on credit hold or the ticket moves into the Hold status. Notifies both owners that warehouse processing may be delayed until the order is approved or released.
Missing Information One Week Before Shipping The targeted shipping date is one week away and required ticket information is still missing. Prompts the sales and warehouse owners to provide or resolve the outstanding information before shipment.
