Assemble & Hold - How to Create a Ticket
Learn how to create an Assemble & Hold ticket in HubSpot, including selecting the correct pipeline, completing required request details, adding associated CRM records, and submitting the ticket in the proper status for processing.
Use an Assemble & Hold ticket to submit and track an assembly or hold request associated with one or more sales orders.
Have the following information available:
- Desired delivery date
- Associated sales representative
- Warehouse location
- Sales order number or numbers
- Relevant company, deal, contact, or existing ticket records
- In HubSpot, navigate to CRM > Tickets.
- In the upper-right corner, click Add tickets, then select Create new.
- Select the Assemble & Hold pipeline.
- Complete the ticket fields:
| Field | Instructions |
|---|---|
| Ticket name | Enter a clear, identifiable name that can be used to reference the request. Including the sales order number and customer name is recommended. Example: 136928 – Customer Name |
| Pipeline | Confirm that Assemble & Hold is selected. This should default automatically when the ticket is created from the Assemble & Hold pipeline. |
| Delivery Date | Enter the desired delivery date. Whenever possible, submit the request at least two weeks before this date. |
| Sales Owner | Select the sales representative associated with the request. |
| Warehouse | Select either 001 or 008, based on the warehouse handling the request. |
| Sales Order | Enter the sales order number or numbers associated with the ticket. |
| Ticket status | Leave the status as Submitted. Do not manually move the ticket forward; the established process will update its status. |
| Ticket description | Enter any additional notes, instructions, requirements, or other information needed to complete the request. |
Under Associate Ticket with, search for and select any relevant HubSpot records:
- Company: Associate the customer or company connected to the request.
- Deal: Associate the related deal when applicable.
- Contact: Associate the appropriate customer or internal contact when applicable.
- Ticket: Associate another ticket when the request is connected to an existing issue or effort.
Review each selected record carefully to ensure the ticket is associated with the correct customer and request.
Submit the TicketAfter reviewing the information and associations, click Create.
Use Create and add another only when you need to immediately enter another Assemble & Hold ticket.
Important: The ticket must remain in the Submitted status after creation. The Assemble & Hold process will move it forward as work progresses.
