Driver Observation Evaluation
How the Evaluation Works
Driver_Observation_Criteria.pdf
As part of your onboarding and ongoing development, a trainer or observer will ride along, conduct a driving test, or perform a spot observation to evaluate your performance. This document explains exactly what's being assessed, how it's scored, and what happens next — so there are no surprises.
How the Evaluation Works
- A trainer or observer rides with you, conducts a driving test, or performs a spot observation.
- You're rated on 10 specific areas, each scored from 1 to 4 using the scale below.
- Your overall outcome is determined by your lowest individual rating — one weak area is flagged even if everything else goes well.
- You'll review and sign the form together with your observer at the end.
