How Do I Import a KCL CSV File into an AQ Project?

AQ allows imported CSV files from KCL.

Step 1 — Generate a KCL schedule.

Generate a KCL schedule and export it to CSV.

Step 2 — Open the Export/Import tab.

Open an AQ project and select the Export/Import tab in the project ribbon.

Step 3 — Select the KCL import icon.

In the ribbon, select the KCL import icon and navigate to your file.

Step 4 — Choose how the file will be added.

After selecting the file, you will receive a dialog that will allow you to choose how you want the file added to your project.

Step 5 — Review the manufacturer.

If the MFR is not already listed in your AQ catalog, the MFR will be added as a Custom MFR.

Step 6 — Select an import option.

Automatic mode will import all items in one step. You will then have to go back into each item to add options/accessories.

Accessorize items on the fly will prompt you to accessorize each item as it is imported.
