If you have a column in your Excel spreadsheet that does not have a corresponding AQ field or column, but you want the content of that column to appear in the AQ spreadsheet, select one of the CustomColumns.

You can rename that column in the column header of the AQ project after the import.

Once you have selected all the appropriate column headers, click OK.

Step 4 — Match the manufacturer names.

Next, you will get a Match Mfrs dialog.

The manufacturers’ names from the spreadsheet you are importing from will be on the left, and the suggested matching manufacturers from AQ will be on the right.

You must make sure the proper AQ manufacturer name is there.

If not, re-type the name in the right column and select from the AQ manufacturer names you see.

Click OK.
