How Do I Use the *Freight Star Command in Prelude?

Use *freight to enter a freight cost and sell price in a special order.

*Freight is used to enter a freight cost and sell price in a special order.

*Step 1 — Type in freight and hit enter.

In Sales order entry type in *freight and hit enter. A product description box will open with a description of "FREIGHT CHARGE".

You can leave in this description or enter a description of your own. Hit enter.

Step 2 — Enter the cost of the freight.

A cost prompt box will open. Enter the cost of the freight. Hit enter.

Step 3 — Enter the quantity and sell price.

When the line-item detail box opens up enter the quantity and sell price. Hit F2 to save.

Step 4 — Hit F2 and select Pick Ticket.

Hit F2. Cursor will default to "Pick Ticket." Hit enter.

The final instruction continues onto page 2 with “enter,” confirming that Step 4 ends by pressing Enter after the cursor defaults to Pick Ticket.
