HubSpot has updated the layout of its CRM record views, changing where several familiar controls and settings are located. While the functionality remains largely the same, some options have moved or are now grouped differently within the interface. This guide walks through the updated layout and where to find the tools you already use when working with record views. #### What Has Changed? The biggest change is **how the views interface is organized**, rather than the underlying functionality. Tools for filtering records, changing how records are displayed, customizing columns, reviewing metrics, and managing saved views are still available. The updated interface brings many of these controls together within the new **settings** ![](https://train.singerequipment.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Sep-01-2026-07-29-17-8361-PM.png?width=20&height=19&name=image-png-Sep-01-2026-07-29-17-8361-PM.png) panel and reorganizes where other controls appear on the record page. *The video above uses Deals as an example, but the updated views interface is used across HubSpot CRM record pages and sales workspace.* #### Navigating Saved Views Saved views continue to appear as tabs across the top of the record page. The options available will depend on the type of record you are working with. #### **Accessing View Settings** One of the main changes in the updated interface is how view customization options are organized. Select **Edit columns** to choose which properties appear as columns and arrange the information that is most useful to you. Additional table display settings include options for adjusting: - Records displayed per page - Row height - Zebra striping These settings allow you to change the presentation of the table without changing which records qualify for the view. #### Showing Metrics For supported CRM objects, **Show metrics** can be enabled from the View settings panel. When enabled, summary metrics appear above the record table and provide at-a-glance information based on the records contained in the current view. The metrics available will depend on the type of CRM record you are viewing. For example, a Deals view may provide deal amount, weighted amount, or deal age information, while other record types may provide different metrics. Because these metrics are based on the current view, changing your filters can also change the information displayed in the metrics section. #### Saving Changes to a View Changes made while customizing a saved view are not necessarily permanent until the view is saved. Open **View settings** and use the available actions to manage your changes. Depending on your access and the view you are working with, available options may include: - **Save changes** – Updates the existing saved view with your changes. - **Reset to last save** – Discards changes and restores the previously saved version. - **Clone to new view** – Creates a new saved view using the current configuration. - **Delete view** – Removes the saved view when you have permission to do so. #### Sharing or Exporting a View The View settings panel also provides access to additional view management options. You can use **Copy link to view** when you need to direct another HubSpot user to the same view.
