What Are Cut Off and Road Show?
Cut off is the stopping point for keying new sales orders for next-day delivery, while Road Show is the logistics process used to sort orders into a logical delivery sequence.
Cut Off
Cut off is a stopping point for keying new sales orders that will be delivered the following day.
The manager is responsible for calling “cut off.”

Road Show
Road Show is a logistic process of sorting orders to be delivered in a logical sequence; in an effort for orders to be delivered in a consistent geographical manner to ensure the efficiency of the driver route.
If order passes all checks and balances the Logistics/Night Manager begins to route the orders that are put into the system at that point of the day.
The order begins a process called road show. You can tell if an order went to road show if RDD is in the order log (/OLI). This process is performed numerous times until cut off is finalized.
The Cut Off times and Road Show explanation above preserve the source wording and sequence.
